Located just 60 miles from San Diego in the picturesque town of Julian, our 5-acre property is neighboring The California Wolf Center – one of San Diego’s most important wildlife conservation facilities. We are located just 10 minutes from Main Street, Julian, as well as Lake Cuyamaca.

Enjoy stargazing, nature hikes, bird and wildlife watching and unforgettable nights under the pines.

Thor (M1781)

Thor (M1781) was born in a litter of seven in 2018 at the California Wolf Center. He has a dark coloration to his coat and likes to mark his territory during tours.

Durango (M1782) was born in a litter of seven in 2018 at the California Wolf Center. Durango is a bit smaller than his brother Thor. He is more outgoing than his brother and often comes closer for a look to check out new visitors during tours.

Frida (F1219)

Frida (F1219) was born in 2011 and was transferred to CWC in 2018 to be paired with Phoenix (M1384) to breed as part of the AZA SAFE Mexican Wolf. Frida has given birth to 15 healthy puppies with her mate.

My church has came to this cabin twice a year for 3 years and once a year for 6 years. This year was the first time with the new owners and it was a smooth transition. Barbara was great, and I loved Barbara, but the new owners’ quick responsiveness made feel I would be ok without her 😅 loved the updates that were done to the cabin. Everything was beautiful.

Our spacious and unique 7 bedroom property is ideal for larger gatherings, family reunions and group retreats. With 14 beds and 6 bathrooms, the property can accommodate up to 30 people.

We are located just 10 minutes away from historic Julian, where you can find numerous attractions, shops and restaurants, as well breweries, wineries and even local hard cider. Lake Cuyamaca is another very popular recreation area, just 10 minutes west of our cabin.
